PLAYGROUND OF YOUNG PEOPLE LOVING KOREAN
After the preliminary round, the 10 best candidates from the School of Foreign Languages (Thai Nguyen University) competed in the final round of the Korean Speaking Contest 2022.
With their talents, the contestants brought presentations with rich content, demonstrating their understanding of Korean people, country and culture; friendly cooperation and cultural exchange between the Vietnam - Korea and the two provinces of Thai Nguyen - Gyeongsangbuk.
Chu Thi Hue - Special prize of the Korean Speaking contest in 2022 "The contest gives us many opportunities such as showing our abilities, meeting and interacting with Koreans, learning about Korean culture, and then we will have better job opportunities. I feel lucky and honored to have won this award.”
At the end of the Contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes to the contestants.
Mr. An Sanghoon - Head of the Representative Office of the Economic Promotion Agency of Gyeongsangbuk Province in Ho Chi Minh City, member of the jury "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the contest must be held online in 2021. This year, in the live competition, I see that the contestants speak very well, and their presentation skills are also excellent. I feel very impressed with the ability of the candidates. I think this is a meaningful event, an opportunity for us to increase our mutual understanding. I hope the contest will continue to be held in the future”
The contest is an opportunity for people who love Korean culture and language, and at the same time, strengthen people-to-people diplomacy, spreading the message of solidarity, friendly cooperation, towards the anniversary of 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022)
